Pacific Poker Review - Last updated October 19, 2004

Software

The software at Pacific is not as good as it could be. The graphics is ok but it runs to slow. This means fewer hands played per hour. If you are a beginner then this is not a disadvantage because you get more time for you decisions.
For now you are only allowed to play at one table at a time.
There is not much of configuration options. Only disable sounds.
In the lobby you can see stats of the tables in play. Players/flop, hands/hour etc.

Competition

The players at Pacific Poker are the most loose players there is at the moment.
If you are going for a hunt this is  a very good place to fish.

Ring Traffic

At peak hours it is about 1000 players at the tables and most of them playing Hold'em.

Tournament Traffic

At peak hours it is about 1500 players at the tournament tables.

Loyalty Bonus

For every $10 you wager you get 1 point. Each 100 points can be redeemed for $1 to your real money account.

Support

The support answered my emails quickly with no problems.
